Your data, handled like a grown-up

We teach marketing. So we know how data gets misused. This page says plainly what we collect, why we hold it and how you get it back. No dense legal wall. Short sentences, real answers.

What we collect

Four kinds of data, and that is the whole list. We ask for what a course needs. Nothing extra.

  • Account details

Your name, email address and password. We need these to open your account and to save your place in a course.

  • Learning progress

Lessons watched, assignments handed in and modules finished. This is what puts your certificate together.

  • Purchase records

Which course or plan you bought, and when. Card numbers go straight to our payment provider. We never store them.

  • Technical data

Browser type, device and rough location from your IP address. It keeps the video player working and blocks abuse.

Why we use it

Every use has a lawful basis under the GDPR (the EU data protection law). Here is each one, in plain words.

Purposes for processing learner data and the lawful basis for each
Purpose Lawful basis What it means
Run your courses Contract Give you the lessons, templates and certificate you paid for.
Take payment Contract Bill the right amount and keep a receipt for tax records.
Support and replies Contract Answer your questions about a course, a plan or a team seat.
Improve the courses Legitimate interest See which modules people drop, then rewrite them. We look at totals, not at you.
Course emails Consent Send new-course news and free lessons. One click stops them for good.

We never sell your data. We never rent your email list. Course results stay yours to share, or not.

Cookies and tracking

Some cookies are needed. They keep you logged in and remember the lesson you paused. Those load on every visit, because the site breaks without them.

The rest wait for your yes. Analytics cookies count visits and finished modules. We use the totals to fix weak lessons. You can change your choice whenever you like.

Our full cookie list sits on its own page, with the name and purpose of each one.

How long we keep it

Data has an end date here. Five records, five clocks.

  1. Account and progress While your account is open Deleted within 30 days of your request.
  2. Certificates issued 6 years So an employer can still check a certificate you shared.
  3. Invoices and receipts 7 years Tax law sets this one. We cannot shorten it.
  4. Support messages 24 months Kept so a follow-up question has context.
  5. Analytics records 14 months Held in a grouped form. No name is attached.

Your rights

Six rights, and each one is free to use. Write to us through the contact page and say which you want.

  • See your data

Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you. We reply within one month.

  • Fix a mistake

Wrong name on a certificate? Tell us and we correct it, then reissue the file.

  • Delete your account

We erase your profile and progress. Invoices stay, because tax rules say so.

  • Take it with you

Get your account data in a plain, machine-readable file to reuse elsewhere.

  • Stop the emails

Withdraw consent at any time. It never affects a course you already own.

  • Object or complain

Object to our use of your data. You may also complain to your data regulator.

Who else sees it

A small set of service partners help us run the platform. Each one works to our written instructions. None of them may use your data for their own ends.

  • Payment provider Takes your card payment and issues the receipt.
  • Video hosting Streams the lessons to your desktop or phone.
  • Email delivery Sends course updates and your account messages.
  • Analytics tool Counts page visits and finished modules in bulk.

If a partner sits outside your country, we use standard contract clauses to guard the transfer. We also share data when a court or the law demands it. That is rare, and we keep a record of it.

Questions about your record?
